Build the LIGO GUI Extension to the ROOT Environment

change into a directory 'dir' where you want to add the library
gunzip/untar ligogui-1.1.tar.gz 
this will create a directory 'dir'/ligogui

The algorithm and calibration libraries are required
and have to been installed prior to this package.
If not included in the distribution, get it from:
    http://www.ligo-wa.caltech.edu/gds/index.html
and follow the instructions from there.

Compile LIGO GUI Extensions

Type:
    cd 'dir'/ligogui
    ./configure 'target' [-options]
    make

Get a list of available targets/options with: ./configure --help
Generated documentation (needs doc++) with: make doc

Libraries are in 'dir'/ligogui/lib
Documentation is in 'dir'/ligogui/doc
              or at http://www.ligo-wa.caltech.edu/gds/ligogui
Binaries (test files) are in: 'dir'/ligogui/bin

Install LIGO GUI Extensions

Type:
    cd 'dir'/ligogui
    make install
    
This will install include files, shared libraries, binaries and 
documentation in the installtion paths specified during 
configure.
