A three-day instructional camp on investigating detector artifacts that affect searches for gravitational waves. There will be presentations from experts on a variety of analysis software tools, including the Diagnostic Test Tool (DTT), the use and creation of DMT monitors, and the use of Matlab. There will also be presentations on other tools for finding and accessing data in various locations, along with an introduction to auxiliary channels that may affect the gravitational wave channel.

Logistics:

• Most sessions will be held in  the auditorium.
• Participants should bring a laptop computer (windows or linux) that supports ssh and sftp.
• Because of a limited number of on-site Matlab licenses, participants are asked, where possible, to bring laptops with Matlab already installed and licensed.
• All participants will be assigned general computing (GC) Hanford accounts, if they do not already have them (see instructions)
• DMT work will be carried out on the GC fortress computer.
• Lunches will be provided, as part of the camp registration fee
