The EventTool (authors Masahiro Ito & Daniel Sigg
) is part of the
GDS tree
It consists of a set of event classes, to be used from the ROOT prompt, in standalone analysis codes
or in DMT monitors in order to:
- read xml trigger files (eg. retrieved from the DataBase through GetMeta or Guild)
- compute statistics of lock segments
- perform coincidences, vetoes, cluster analysis
- apply selection cuts, produce and fit histogram with the full analysis power of ROOT
- manipulate graphical output
